Biography
U.S. Girls is the project of Toronto-based singer-songwriter Meghan Remy, begun in 2007 with tape loops and a four-track. After lo-fi, collage-built albums for #Siltbreeze# including 'Introducing...' (2008) and 'Go Grey' (2010), she signed to #4AD# for 'Half Free' (2015) and the Polaris-shortlisted 'In a Poem Unlimited' (2018), which sharpened her method into direct political pop, followed by 'Heavy Light' (2020) and 'Bless This Mess' (2023).
