Biography
UFO were an English hard rock band formed in London in 1968 around singer Phil Mogg. With Michael Schenker on guitar they made 'Phenomenon' (1974), 'Lights Out' (1977) and the live classic 'Strangers in the Night' (1979), influencing the metal generation that followed. Later lineups with Paul Chapman and, from 2003, Vinnie Moore kept the band recording until 'The Salentino Cuts' (2017). Mogg confirmed UFO's disbandment in April 2024.
