Biography
London-formed electronic project of Irish singer-programmer Ronan Harris, active since 1990 and later based in Hamburg. With drummer Mark Jackson as second member from 1995 to 2017, VNV Nation defined futurepop on albums such as 'Empires' (1999), 'Futureperfect' (2002) and 'Judgement' (2007), pairing EBM and trance machinery with melodic, idealistic songwriting. Harris has run the project alone since Jackson's departure. The stored memberOf entries for *Apoptygma Berzerk* and *Theatre of Tragedy* were junk and have been removed.
