White Zombie

White Zombie

White Zombie was an American heavy metal band formed in New York City that rose from the mid-80s noise rock underground to become a multi-platinum force in the 1990s. Co-founded by vocalist Rob Zombie and bassist Sean Yseult, the band was known for its B-movie horror aesthetic, surreal lyrics, and a sound that evolved dramatically over its career. After a series of independent releases, they signed to #Geffen Records# and achieved mainstream success with 'La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Volume One' and its massive follow-up, 'Astro-Creep: 2000'. Their unique blend of groove metal, industrial textures, and cinematic sampling made them a defining act of the decade before disbanding in 1998.
