Album Notes & Community Reviews

Issued by Parlophone to fill the release void during the lengthy recording sessions for 'Sgt. Pepper,' this was the group's first official greatest hits compilation in the UK. The collection effectively summarizes their initial Beatlemania phase, gathering massive, era-defining singles that had previously been unavailable on their British studio albums. It stands as a flawless, highly concentrated document of their unparalleled mid-60s pop dominance.
