Packaging the first three phases of Leyland Kirby's harrowing, multi-year conceptual project on dementia, this release documents the initial, subtle onset of memory loss. The music relies on looping samples of 1920s big band recordings coated in heavy vinyl crackle, which slowly begin to drift off-pitch and suffer from structural disorientation as the stages progress. It establishes a haunting, nostalgic foundation before the complete cognitive collapse explored in the project's later half.
