Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed to boost morale in the aftermath of the Biafran War, this collection documents the incredible, heavy grooves of one of Nigeria's premier afro-rock bands. Having relocated to London in the mid-1970s to record, their sound evolved into an impossibly tight, fast-paced fusion of Santana-esque funk, screaming organ solos, and West African highlife. The anthology captures an explosive, life-affirming musical resurgence.
