Cool Down the Dance

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Representing a powerful and highly focused short-form statement, 'Cool Down the Dance' is a four-track jungle EP from London-based producer Basic Rhythm. Released via Planet Mu, the tracks pair rapid-fire, micro-edited breakbeats with heavy sub-bass loops and minimal, spacious sound design. The record serves as a spectacular showcase of his talent for stripping classic rave formulas down to their steely, modern fundamentals.
