Album Notes & Community Reviews
Plunging headfirst into high-velocity breakbeat patterns, 'Old Skool Shit' represents a highly raw and energetic jump-up EP from British producer Basic Rhythm. Released via Tim Reaper's Future Retro London label, the tracks pair classic 90s rave-inspired synth stabs with aggressive, rolling drum breaks and heavy basslines. The short-form project serves as a spectacular showcase of his talent for capturing the wild, uncompromised energy of pirate radio heritage.
