Merciless

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as a bridge between their seminal albums 'Pure' and 'Selfless', this EP consists of heavily reworked material originally written during their earliest, most abrasive years. The tracks fuse Justin Broadrick's suffocatingly heavy guitar riffs with deeply cold, mechanized drum programming. It perfectly distills the bleak, industrial gloom that profoundly influenced the development of both post-metal and modern sludge.
