Warrior's guttural grunts and the suffocatingly sludgy, detuned guitar tone paved the direct aesthetic pathway for the extreme metal underground. Shortly after its release, the core duo dissolved the controversial project to form the legendary avant-garde metal outfit Celtic Frost.
