Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during their final days with initial frontman Dave Conway, this scrappy release sees the outfit transitioning away from pure post-punk towards the jangly, distortion-flecked aesthetics of the UK C86 movement. While the dizzying volume of their shoegaze masterpieces remains absent, the increasingly prominent usage of swooning vocal melodies hints directly at Kevin Shields' impending pop genius.
