Album Notes & Community Reviews

Culled from the band's legendary 'Purple Tape' demo sessions, this debut release immediately established their volatile quiet-LOUD dynamic structure. The songs are marked by cryptic, surreal lyrics incorporating themes of religion, incest, and Spanish culture. It served as an essential blueprint that heavily influenced the alternative rock explosion of the early 1990s.
