Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring prominent vocal contributions from The Breeders' Kelley Deal, this tense release captures the Detroit quartet at their most focused and politically charged. The driving, abrasive instrumentation provides a bleak, urgent foundation for Joe Casey's poetic, pessimistic observations regarding contemporary American decay. The brilliant collaboration resulted in some of the band's most widely praised tracks, notably 'Wheel of Fortune'.
