Album Notes & Community Reviews

A deeply reverent tribute EP consisting entirely of songs originally penned by the late Mississippi bluesman Junior Kimbrough. Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney perfectly capture the hypnotic, trance-like groove of hill country blues while injecting it with their signature, heavily distorted garage-rock grit.
