Album Notes & Community Reviews

Captured in a notoriously sloppy, alcohol-fueled recording session, the Minneapolis legends push their frenetic garage-rock to the absolute brink of high-speed hardcore. Paul Westerberg's remarkably sharp pop sensibilities occasionally break through the terrifying wall of noise, most notably on the iconic opener 'Kids Don't Follow'. The release beautifully bridges their reckless punk origins with the mature alt-rock anthems they would soon perfect.
