Album Notes & Community Reviews

Trading their usual angular rock for a warm, major-key psychedelic pop arrangement, this ballad tells a darkly humorous, yearning narrative of romantic obsession. Its simple, highly distinctive music video鈥攆eaturing Alex Turner singing alone into a tape recorder鈥攂ecame an iconic piece of late-2000s indie imagery.
