Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring the haunting, brass-accented title track from Justin Vernon's breakout debut, this single perfectly distills the album's themes of romantic regret and wintery isolation. Its B-side 'Wisconsin' offers another gorgeous, stripped-back folk meditation that further fueled the indie folk revival.
