Biography
Bon Iver is the primary musical project of American singer-songwriter Justin Vernon. Initially gaining international acclaim for the stripped-back, cabin-recorded indie folk of "For Emma, Forever Ago", the project has since evolved into a sprawling, collaborative experiment in art pop and folktronica. Characterized by Vernon’s soaring falsetto and innovative use of vocal processing and synthesizers, the band’s sound bridges the gap between traditional Americana and avant-garde electronic music. Over a career spanning landmark releases like "Bon Iver, Bon Iver" and the glitched-out "22, A Million", the project has secured multiple Grammy Awards and become a cornerstone of 21st-century independent music.
