Dreamfear / Boy Sent From Above

Album Notes & Community Reviews

A striking departure from his signature melancholic ambient-dubstep, this sprawling dual-track release sees Burial diving heavily into manic 1990s rave and breakbeat hardcore nostalgia. It pieces together frenetic synthesizer stabs, disjointed vocal samples, and aggressive percussion patterns via dense, collage-like arrangements. It represents one of the most kinetic and chaotic releases in the producer's acclaimed catalog.
