Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released exclusively as a highly sought-after vinyl 12-inch, 'Nova' strips away the vocal collaborations of their previous joint efforts in favor of a pure, melodic club focus. The track beautifully merges Burial's shuffling, ghostly percussion and vinyl-crackling atmosphere with Four Tet's bright, twinkling synthesizer arpeggios. It represents a warm, surprisingly uplifting pivot within both producers' normally melancholic catalogs.
