Album Notes & Community Reviews

Composed during a period of intense military dictatorship in Brazil, this epic, heavily orchestrated masterpiece utilizes strict proparoxytone meter to detail a tragic construction worker's death. The swelling, dissonant orchestral arrangements crafted by Rog茅rio Duprat elevate the sociopolitical critique into a monumental achievement of Latin American music.
