Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as the incendiary debut for the San Francisco quartet, Jello Biafra's biting lyrical satire targeted then-Governor Jerry Brown with vicious, theatrical precision. The propulsive, surf-inflected bassline and frantic tempos were instrumental in defining the confrontational aesthetics of early West Coast hardcore.
