Album Notes & Community Reviews

A pioneering masterpiece that practically invented the trip-hop genre. Featuring Shara Nelson's towering, soulful vocal performance, the track pairs a hip-hop drum break with a sweeping, dramatic string section composed by Wil Malone and recorded in a single take at Abbey Road Studios. Due to the ongoing Gulf War at the time of release, the group temporarily dropped 'Attack' from their name, officially releasing this single simply as 'Massive'.
