Album Notes & Community Reviews
Originally uploaded to YouTube under the alias sunsetcorp, this looping, pitched-down manipulation of Chris de Burgh's 'The Lady in Red' is a foundational text of the vaporwave microgenre. Daniel Lopatin's repetitive, hypnagogic sampling effectively created the blueprint for the entire 'Eccojams' movement. The track heavily influenced 2010s internet aesthetics and underground electronic music.
