Album Notes & Community Reviews
A scorching, foundational document of the Texas hardcore punk scene. Fronted by Gary Floyd, an openly gay, cross-dressing communist in early-80s Austin, The Dicks infused raw, abrasive punk energy with deep blues-rock rhythms. The title track remains a legendary, vitriolic anti-authoritarian anthem decrying police corruption and brutality.
