Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as the majestic emotional centerpiece of 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness', the song is heavily augmented by a 30-piece string arrangement performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Billy Corgan wrote the impassioned, triumphant lyrics as an affirmation of self-belief directed at his younger, insecure self. Its multi-award-winning music video brilliantly paid homage to Georges M茅li猫s' 1902 silent film 'A Trip to the Moon'.
