Lyrics for Susan Jane
Susan Jane Standin' in the rain Eatin' sugar cane Feelin' no pain Susan Jane She's beautifully insane Barefoot in the muddy road Her mind is free She swims in the sea She's holdin' the key to infinity Her soul is on a spree She's makin' love to me Barefoot in the muddy road Feel her mind It's one of a kind Where else could you find Thoughts without a bind? She's shakin' her behind It's groovy to unwind Barefoot in the muddy road Lives by the stars Swears she's been to Mars She's puttin' down the czars And criticizing wars She loves to ride in cars Just loves to eat from jars Barefoot in the muddy road Used to have a maid In the Palisades Her father's Christ crusade Did not include the spades She never made the social grade She enjoys getting laid Barefoot in the muddy road Susan Jane Standin' in the rain Eatin' sugar cane Just feelin' no pain Susan Jane She's beautifully insane Barefoot in the muddy road
