Ancient Emblem / Hongo

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Utilizing expansive atmospheric layering and high-gain distortion, the split explores themes of internal psychological pressure and social decay. Hongo's side features increasingly sophisticated instrumental layering that bridges the gap between their crust foundations and modern post-metal. It serve as a definitive document of the regional move toward increasingly abstract and structurally dense extreme music narratives within the Spanish underground.
