Album Notes & Community Reviews

Attempting to evolve beyond the monolithic doom metal that defined their early years, Black Sabbath integrated extensive keyboards and Beatles-inspired arrangements on their seventh record. 'Technical Ecstasy' is a surprisingly eclectic, highly melodic hard rock album that experiments heavily with progressive structures, resulting in a fascinatingly energetic, slightly disjointed shift in sound.
