Album Notes & Community Reviews
Returning after a prolonged hiatus, the influential power trio attempted to update their notoriously heavy 1960s sound for the modern thrash and traditional metal audiences. 'The Beast Is ... Back' incorporates modern production aesthetics and faster tempos, featuring re-recordings of classic tracks alongside new material. The effort underscores their enduring legacy as progenitors of extreme volume and sludge.
