Album Notes & Community Reviews
Laying the crushing, heavily distorted groundwork for what would soon become heavy metal, Blue Cheer's debut is a shockingly loud assault on the senses. 'Vincebus Eruptum' is fiercely energetic and violently raw, reducing standard blues-rock structures into wonderfully noisy, fiercely rebellious psychedelic hedonism and overwhelmingly heavy guitar fuzz.
