Album Notes & Community Reviews
The highly anticipated reunion of Deep Purple's classic 'Mark II' lineup resulted in a remarkably potent, muscular hard rock record. 'Perfect Strangers' heavily updates their legendary 70s sound with polished 80s production, blending Ritchie Blackmore's heavy, driving riffs with Jon Lord's prominent, atmospheric organ work. The album delivers soaring, passionate anthems that successfully reestablished their hard rock dominance.
