Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking the second studio effort following the Mark II lineup's reunion, 'The House of Blue Light' attempts to synthesize the group's classic heavy rock foundations with polished, synthesizer-driven textures. Interpersonal tensions during the recording sessions notoriously impacted the creative process, though the project remains notable for integrating contemporary AOR production styles into traditional hard rock riffing.
