Sovran

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Introducing new vocalist Heike Langhans, the album features a shift toward a more atmospheric and expansive ethereal wave-inflected sound. Recorded at Dead Dog Farm and produced by Johan Ericson, the tracks utilize lush synthesizer layers and slow-tempo doom foundations to explore themes of isolation and existential sovereignty. It represents a significant revitalization for the band, prioritizing textural depth and a renewed focus on somber, melodic storytelling.
