Draconian

Draconian is a Swedish gothic doom metal band formed in 1994. Known for their atmospheric and melancholic sound, the band's music is characterized by a 'beauty and the beast' vocal approach, contrasting harsh male vocals with ethereal female singing. After several demos, they signed with #Napalm Records#, releasing their debut album 'Where Lovers Mourn' in 2003. This album, along with its successor 'Arcane Rain Fell', solidified their status as a prominent force in the genre. Their lyrical themes often explore sorrow, nature, and dark romanticism. The band has seen notable lineup changes, including the celebrated return of original female vocalist Lisa Johansson in 2022.
