Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut studio record from the S盲ffle-based ensemble establishes a 'beauty and the beast' vocal dynamic, pairing Anders Jacobsson's harsh growls with Lisa Johansson's melodic soprano. Recorded at Studio Mega with producer Chris Silver, the compositions blend mid-tempo doom structures with melancholic, violin-led atmospheric layers. It functions as a foundational work for the 2000s Swedish gothic metal resurgence, prioritizing emotional weight and poetic lyricism.
