Album Notes & Community Reviews

Introducing legendary vocalist Sandy Denny to the lineup, Fairport Convention significantly refined their sound, leaning heavily into their distinctly English roots. 'What We Did on Our Holidays' is wonderfully pastoral and deeply peaceful, balancing beautifully melodic, remarkably soft acoustic folk-rock with highly sentimental, slightly psychedelic vocal harmonies.
