Built from recordings made at La Selva Biological Station in Costa Rica during the rainy seasons of 1995 and 1996, 'La Selva' is a single 71-minute acousmatic work by Spanish sound artist Francisco L贸pez. L贸pez, trained as an entomologist and biologist, assembled the piece from rain, waterfalls, insects, frogs, birds and mammals tracked through one day cycle of the forest.
