Album Notes & Community Reviews
The title joins the two halves of Bataan's heritage, Afro-Puerto Rican and Filipino, while the music fuses salsa and soul with the emerging New York disco sound. Its centerpiece is a celebrated version of Gil Scott-Heron's 'The Bottle', released by the label Bataan had co-founded with the Cayre brothers.
