Album Notes & Community Reviews

The final studio release from the second incarnation of John McLaughlin's pioneering fusion group before their initial disbandment. The project prominently features the Roland guitar synthesizer, pushing the band's frenetic jazz-rock into deeply electronic and funk-oriented territories. The inclusion of vocals by keyboardist Stu Goldberg and bassist Ralph Armstrong marks a significant departure from their earlier, purely instrumental intensity.
