Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating entirely as the solo project of Portland musician A.L.N., this monumental 60-minute release cemented Mizmor as a leading force in modern extreme metal. The record flawlessly intertwines the agonizing, funereal pacing of doom metal with sudden, terrifying explosions of acoustic-laced atmospheric black metal. It acts as a profoundly heavy, cinematic processing of the artist's traumatic loss of religious faith.
