Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by Marco del Rio of the enigmatic black metal act Bone Awl, Raspberry Bulbs delivers a noxious, lo-fi blend of crusty hardcore punk and gothic deathrock. 'Privacy' is intentionally ugly and abrasive, utilizing blown-out four-track recording techniques to capture an atmosphere of urban paranoia and occult grimness. Released on the experimental label Blackest Ever Black, it bridges the gap between outsider punk and true underground extreme metal.
