Fires in Heaven

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from a decade-long hiatus, the pioneering architects of the witch house microgenre return with a remarkably refined vision of their signature Midwestern gothic aesthetic. The album trades some of the abrasive noise of their debut for massive, shoegaze-indebted synthesizers and woozy, codeine-laced trap rhythms. It proved that their uniquely bleak, hypnotic sound remained entirely relevant in the modern internet era.
