Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Swiss extreme metal outfit delivers a staggeringly ambitious, 100-minute triple album conceptually focused on spiritual ascension and the dissolution of the ego. The three discs move sequentially through punishing, dissonant black metal, into sprawling progressive doom, and ultimately conclude with completely beatless, tribal ambient soundscapes. It was universally hailed for its colossal, theatrical vision of modern extreme music.
