Moonflowers

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived during a period of intense personal despair for guitarist and primary songwriter Juha Raivio, 'Moonflowers' stands as a devastating monument to sorrow and loss. The Finnish ensemble pairs their crushing death-doom foundation with mournful classical string arrangements, creating an immensely heavy and emotionally exhausting gothic metal experience. An accompanying bonus disc features the album's string arrangements performed instrumentally in a Finnish church.
