Album Notes & Community Reviews

The eighth studio album from the duo, 'Turn Blue' is a dark and deeply personal breakup record, largely inspired by Dan Auerbach's divorce. Produced by Danger Mouse, the album takes a significant turn towards psychedelic and atmospheric rock, with slower tempos, layered textures, and a pervasive mood of introspection and melancholy. It was a bold departure from the straightforward garage-blues of their previous work, showcasing a more vulnerable and experimental side of the band.
