Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shedding the harsh doom-death growls of their earlier material, the Norwegian gothic metal pioneers fully embraced lush, darkwave-inflected atmospheres on their third LP. The intertwining of Raymond Rohonyi's clean baritone and Liv Kristine's ethereal soprano created a deeply romantic, highly influential template for modern gothic rock.
