Biography
Norwegian gothic metal band from Stavanger, active from 1993 to 2010, who popularised contrasting beauty and the beast vocals: Liv Kristine's soprano against Raymond Istv谩n Rohonyi's growls, over lyrics in Early Modern English on 'Theatre of Tragedy' (1995), 'Velvet Darkness They Fear' (1996) and 'A茅gis' (1998). After an industrial and electropop turn on 'Musique' (2000) and 'Assembly' (2002), Nell Sigland replaced Kristine and the band closed with the gothic metal of 'Storm' (2006) and 'Forever Is the World' (2009).
