Born Again Revisited

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Ohio trio's fourth album remains completely devoted to their signature, abrasive 'shitgaze' aesthetic, burying hook-heavy indie pop beneath overwhelming layers of cassette tape hiss and blown-out distortion. Despite the intentionally harsh, lo-fi recording fidelity, the underlying songwriting features highly infectious, upbeat melodies and dual male-female vocals. The release cemented their status as champions of the late-2000s noise-pop underground.
